UA Mail: Email Attachments and Signature File

Before following the instructions below, log into uamail.uark.edu with your UARK username and password.

Attachments

To view or download an attachment:

  1. While viewing an email in UA Mail, click Download and click Open.

  2. To download an attachment, click Download and click Save.

To send an attachment:

  1. Click New Message.

  2. Click the Attachment icon.

  3. Click Browse and select the file to attach. Click Open.

Signature File

A signature file contains text which is automatically added to composed messages, usually at the end of a message. To create a signature file in UA Mail:

  1. Click Preferences in the menu on the left.

  2. Click Personal Information.

  3. (Optional) Enter a Reply-to: address if replies should be sent to an address different from the current address.

  4. (Optional) Enter an address(es) to Blind Carbon Copy (BCC) all messages. Enter each address on a new line.

  5. For Your Signature, enter your signature text to be used when sending messages in plain text.

  6. (Optional) Check the "Precede your text signature with dashes" box.

  7. For HTML Editor, enter your signature text to be used when sending messages in HTML format.

  8. (Optional) Check "Place your signature before replies and forwards?" box.

  9. Click Save.
