-
You will be returned to the Message Composition window with the addresses filled in.
Note: You can select multiple recipients from your personal address book in UA Mail, but in order to protect users from spam attacks, IT Services does not make this option available when selecting recipients from the UA Directory.

-
Open the UA Mail Address Book.
-
Check the boxes next to each contact to be added to the group.

Import Addresses
-
Open the Address Book.
-
Click Import/Export.
-
Select the import format of the source file. Comma separated values (.csv) or Tab separated values are the most common file formats.
-
To replace the current address book with the one to be imported, check the box to do so. This will delete all entries in the current address book.
-
Click Browse to find and select the file. Click Open and Next. If you get a blank page after this step, make sure the .csv file you're importing does not have a row of "headers" (e.g. Title, Name, Department). Remove the top row of header information, save the changes, and start again from step one.
-
Enter a delimiter character (e.g., comma or semicolon) and enter the number of fields (for example, 8). Click Next.
-
Select two matching fields. The matching fields should be selected to correspond as closely as possible (i.e., "Imported Fields: First Name" should be paired with "Available Fields: First Name" and so on, clicking the "Add Pair" button after each pairing is made). The selected pair of matching fields to import will be listed below.
Note: If Contact Names are imported as Full Name (not First Name, Last Name) use the Available field Alias as a match to the Imported field Full Name. After the import is complete, edit the entries by clicking the edit address book entry icon and add the contact's First and Last name information. Save the Changes. -
When all desired Imported fields and Available fields have been matched and added, click Next. UA Mail will indicate whether the import was successful. Click Address Book on the navigation menu to view the results of the import.
Export Addresses
-
Open the Address Book.
-
Click Export.
-
Under Export Address Book, select the export format of the source file, for example, Comma separated values (.csv) or Tab separated values.
-
From the dropdown menu, select your address book. Click Export.
-
On the file download window, click Save File. Click OK.
