Support Checklist
Use this checklist to resolve problems accessing UARK applications such as ISIS, BASIS, Blackboard, or the university web presence. If you can't resolve your problem using the following information, report the issue to the Help Desk at 575-2905 or open an AskIT case.
Troubleshoot Your Browser
Make sure your browser has the most recent updates:
Clear your browser cache or temporary Internet files:

Safari: Click Safari and Empty Cache.
Enable JavaScript:
Is the browser pop-up blocker turned on? If so, the site must be added to the blocker's allowed sites.

Safari: Click Safari and uncheck the Block Pop-Up Windows menu item.
Manage your cookies. Some applications require that cookies are enabled.
Make sure your plug-ins are updated.
Test Your Connection
Check your Internet connection using the Network Speed Test.
If you are on campus and experiencing problems connecting to the Internet, contact the Help Desk at 575-2905.
Check for Outages
Go to the IT Services Alert Calendar to find out if the system you are trying to access is unavailable due to scheduled maintenance.
Download System Updates
Make sure you have the latest patches and updates to your operating system:
Update Your Third-Party Software
The newest versions of Acrobat, Windows Media Player, Flash, QuickTime, and/or RealPlayer might be required.
Java
Install the latest version of Java Runtime Environment.
