PASSweb Help

You can activate your UARK account, reset or change your password, and retrieve your password if you have forgotten it at PASSweb. PASSweb is also used to change sponsored account and Cavern account passwords. For UARK password guidelines, see Passwords.

Security Question

If you have forgotten your password, you can retrieve it with a previously set security question. Go to PASSweb: Forgotten Password to use your security question and reset your password. If you don't have a security question or can't remember it, see the section below to learn how to renew your account.

You are prompted to create your security question when you create an account, but if you haven't done so, you can go to PASSweb: Security Question to get started. You must remember which question you chose and the answer to successfully reset a forgotten password. If you enter a question using "Other," you will be required to enter the exact question as well as the answer to reset your forgotten password. The answer must contain a minimum of four characters. Both question and answer are case-sensitive.

Account Renewal

If you have not set up a security question and answer and you have forgotten your password, follow the steps below to renew your account.

  1. Go to the IT Services Help Desk or the General Access Computing Labs in the Arkansas Union, Mullins Library, or J.B. Hunt Building during business hours and show your University ID. Students can also go to the Office of the Registrar, 146 Hunt Hall, 479-575-5451.

  2. Complete the Account Reactivation Login form on PASSweb.

  3. Create your new password and security question and answer when prompted.

A picture ID is required for account renewal. Contact the Help Desk for information on renewing an account off-site.

Go to passweb.uark.edu and log in with your old password to get started creating a new one. If you are unable to create a new password in PASSweb, contact the Help Desk at 575-2905.
