Suggested Contacts

By default, Outlook 2010 automatically adds recipients to a Suggested Contacts Address Book. To disable this new feature:

  1. Click the File tab, Options, Contacts.

  2. Uncheck the box next to "Automatically create Outlook contacts for recipients that do not belong to an Outlook Address Book."

To no longer display Suggested Contacts as an email Address Book:

  1. From Contacts, right-click Suggested Contacts, and select Properties. Click the Outlook Address Book tab.

  2. Uncheck the box next to, "Show this folder as an email Address Book."

Import/Export Wizard

Click the File tab. Click Open. Select, "Import to launch the Import and Export Wizard."

Open another user's folder

  1. Click the File tab, Open, and then click Other User's Folder.

  2. Enter the UARK username for the account you wish to share.

  3. Select the desired folder from the dropdown menu. Click OK.

If the folder you have permission to access is not listed as an option in the dropdown menu, or you want the folder to be available when you launch Outlook, add the other person's mailbox to your list of folders:

  1. Click the File tab. Click Account Settings.

  2. Select your Exchange account. Click Change.

  3. Click More Settings. Click the Advanced tab.

  4. Under the Mailboxes heading, click Add.

  5. Enter the UARK username for the account you wish to share. Click OK.
