Exchange: Add UA Holidays to Calendar
Outlook 2010 (Windows)
-
Open the .hol file from http://downloads.uark.edu/exchange/OUTLOOK-UA2011.HOL.
Note: Firefox users will need to right-click the link and select "Save Link As" in order to download the file. When download is complete, open the file. -
The "Add Holidays to Calendar" dialog box will open in Outlook.
-
Check the box next to University of Arkansas and click OK.
-
If you get a warning that a UA holiday set is already installed, do not install it again as it will cause duplicates.
The UA holidays are now listed in your calendar as all day, banner events. They begin with "UA-" to make them easily identifiable.
Outlook 2011 (Mac)
-
Download the file from http://downloads.uark.edu/exchange/MacOutlook2011-UA.olm.
-
In Outlook, open the File menu and click Import.
-
Select "Outlook Data File (.pst or .olm)" and click the advance arrow.
-
Select "Outlook for Mac Data File (.olm)" and click the advance arrow.
-
Browse to the downloaded file (location may vary depending on your browser's download settings) and select it. Click Import. Click Done.
University holidays are listed as all-day banner events and are easily identifiable with "UA-" at the beginning of each holiday entry.

You may have done it before the file was updated. The 2011 versions of the files should install Official holidays from July 2011-June 2012

We are in the process of ironing out some issues with the Outlook 2011 (Mac) version of the 2012-2013 holidays calendar; the new calendar should be available, at the very latest, by the end of the month (April 2012). Thank you for your patience, and we apologize for the inconvenience.

I apparently did this earlier in the year but the holidays only show through the Spring semester. Should I do this every semester? Also ignore the already installed?
