Windows Mail: UA Directory Access
Access and search UARK email addresses by adding Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) to Windows Mail.
Note: The UA Directory address book is not available for UARK Gmail at this time. To search for university email addresses, go to UA Directory in your web browser.

Open Windows Mail.

From the menu bar, click Tools, Accounts. Click Add.

Select the option Directory Service. Click Next.

For the Internet directory (LDAP) server name, enter: acme.uark.edu.

Leave the "My LDAP server requires me to log on" box unchecked. Click Next.

Select Yes for "Using this directory service to check addresses."

Click Next. Click Finish.

You will return to the Internet Accounts window. Ensure the account you just created is selected, and click Properties. You may need to expand the Directory Service category by clicking the arrow.

Click the Advanced tab and for the Search base, enter: ou=People,o=uark.edu,o=UoA

Click OK. Click Close.
